Aaron Escobar

Aaron Escobar is from Northern Virginia. He is of Salvadoran descent from his parents and takes pride in his heritage.

He is a Sophomore here at Mason majoring in Physics with a double minor in Astronomy and Music (Percussion). He is a Student Transition Empowerment Program (STEP) 2016 Scholar. He is heavily involved on campus, as he is an Hermano of La Unidad Latina Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity Inc. and will be serving as the Public Relations Chair for Mason DREAMers.

Aaron has a passion for physics and in the future, his plan is to work for NASA as a researcher or as an aerospace engineer. He also plans on going back to school after he graduates to get a PhD in physics. In his free time, Aaron practices and teaches percussion he reads books on Physics and likes watching science fiction films.
